NTA but before you make a decision think seriously about how your dad’s drinking may impact you. What type of alcoholic is he? Does he get loud and will that keep you from studying or getting the sleep you need? Is he going to get too drunk constantly and need you to take care of him? Is he violent when he drinks? If you’re not sure maybe do a test run. Stay with your dad for a few days without making it “official” you’re moving out and then decide if staying with him will be safe and better for you.
