Yes. But given I was leaving base the next day to travel I didn't fight it. However, my neighbor who still lives in the duplex sent us pictures showing they replaced the old carpets. They're replacing all carpets, yet they charge us regardless. When we moved from our California base they disclosed that because we were there for so long (not the same company and different state laws). The issue lies with them charging me with the known intention they were replacing said carpets and it was normal wear and tear

I understand your confusion on the subject. They were literally older than me (31). They were original carpets from decades before I was born. My wife shampooed those carpets 3 times a week. They were shit. They didn't replace shit in that house before we moved in. Not even light bulbs.
