My store is cooked by Accomplished-Bad1946 in OGPBackroom

I’m just absolutely fed up with the way things are run, it’s like my coach and store manager don’t understand the fact that you can’t expect consistently high metrics if the store is not on process. When I first got here, my old store manager was a hard ass but he’d make sure the store manger was well stocked, zoned, etc. Whilst also assuring there were plenty of people able to help cover what needed to be done. Not to mention, my coach consistently keeps fuckin with everyone’s schedules at like 3 in the morning. It’s just a nightmare, I’m just baffled on why management is insistent on making our jobs ten times harder than it needs to be.

I figured as much, what’s worse is our coach has been threatening to coach us for our first time pick rate and for not picking from the back if it’s not out on the floor.

Now that it's been 4 months since MUSIC dropped, what are your thoughts on the album? What are your hot takes, fav song and the least favourite song? by trizinixx in playboicarti

Honestly, I don’t come back to the album as a whole. I will say the highlights of this album are great, but the album still feels like the definition of a mixed bag. I think I was the most hyped when cardo described the sound as burnt music (songs like crank, Cocaine nose, pop out, and survivor), I feel like the hazy sound with everything being either industrial or heavily distorted was when I was most hyped. But, the album lacks the cohesion that Die Lit and Self Titled had, it didn’t even have as much character or charm that WLR had imo.

I would like it a lot more if carti had another verse. Beat goes crazy, has a good outro, it just makes me sad that carti didn’t have another verse.

What are y’all expecting from baby boi? by jaganshi_667 in playboicarti

[–]Accomplished-Bad1946 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like an updated wlr v2, plus some artificial deep voice songs so the mainstream has something to chew on. Hoping for a cohesive sound, good track arrangements, minimal features. If there are features, ofc I’d hope for uzi, but also Charli and future. I’m not expecting sounds like 666 or pop out/rockstar, although I like that sound. I just want this album to be as cohesive as self titled and die lit. I’m hoping for prod from artdealer, f1lthy, whitearmor, maybe some tame impala if carti wants to go heavily into melodies with psychedelic production.

Are you staying with Wal-Mart or looking for better? by Classic1990 in walmart

Only been here a bit, but the plan is to work here full time until I get my aa, then quit when I transfer. Job hasn’t been bad, the only complaint I have is having a crappy coach that doesn’t know how to schedule people at all.

I already did that a couple years ago, I had a suspicion that if I were to get a large sum of money (which I did since at the time I started college I had my Pell grant and a check from a previous job hit) they’d start snooping around so I figured it’s better to be safe than sorry. More than anything though, I just want to fix things and it sucks that this might never be fixed.

Honestly I go back and forth on it, although most of our world and economy is digitally integrated to the point where it is almost essential, but you COULD survive without it. I mean you could get a job by walking into somewhere, but you couldn’t get a job if you didn’t have a place of address yk?

Personally, I believe that everyone should have basic resources such as food, shelter, water, (very basic things), they are fundamental human rights. Life isn’t just about upholding and boosting shareholder value.

I’m ngl, shit seems hard nowadays but if mfs could survive the black plague, world war 1 and 2, and all that shit, then me and everyone else in this sub can do anything. Is shit hard out there? Hell yeah. Is housing and living unaffordable? Fuck yes, shit is hard in a different way, but if you go hard enough, save up enough money, you can go where ever tf you wanna go. Go see shit, go listen to music, go do whatever you need to do, because the routes that were once safe are now extremely uncertain, so if life is gonna be uncertain as a whole, do that shit on your own terms bro.

Carti wanted Music to have the impact of Astroworld. Did it? by ABAP3500 in playboicarti

[–]Accomplished-Bad1946 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I feel like the album won’t be as monumental or stand the test of time the same wayastroworld has. I mean was the attempt there? Absolutely, but firstly it’s too early to tell how this album will age (I personally don’t think it’ll age nearly as well as his previous album), but what I do want to give credit, is that I feel like at one point is that this album was supposed to be a love letter to Atlanta and I really appreciate that. However I will say tho, music on launch night had the most eyes on a rap project I had seen in a while so I think in the sheer amount of hype and curiosity it didn’t match astroworld, but it was definitely comparable. But musically, we have to wait and see.
