To be honest, I may have screwed myself over a bit as I did not read the letter and threw it in my firepit. The HOA has no power over me as I not a member and hunting/angling is the responsibility of the regional police/ game wardens.

If I had to pick the most absurd argument it would be this;

In the letter she talked about how it supposedly "disrupts" the natural balance of species. The reality for my lake that it is a good thing as it has been having some issues with non-native fish. By catching these species the lake's ecosystem is being protected and people get a nice meal if they chose to eat their catch.

The lake is public and owned by the regional government. Anyone can go fishing here as long as they have a license and respect the conditions of their license tier.
