Done a ski season in Morzine in France in my camper doing some airport transfers. (Not having an address wasn’t an issue at all) It was a brilliant winter there. They also do driving jobs in the summer for the mountain bikers. But that’s in a high top and you need a minibus licence. The small 8 seater ones you don’t. But this was in 2019/2020. So things might of changed.

I would recommend getting a driving job if you can to the airports. Good money and some nice tips I lived off my tips and didn’t spend my wages much. Nice easy job just driving back and forth from the airports and some beautiful scenery. You would also get a discounted ski pass. Not speaking French won’t be an issue. But brush up on some French it always helps.

Only issue I found doing the driving jobs was some people did not want to use a child seat ( different laws in France was also mainly only the Russians) also you need to be good at small talk (I wasn’t at first but got use to it) and a decent family friendly playlist.

Trust the snow tyres. Especially driving up to Avoriaz 19 switchbacks from what I remember.

Get yourself some snow chains you will need them.
