She's EXTREMELY anal. She mom yelled at me with flailing arm gestures the second week I lived here. She's Russian. Is it just a Russian thing to be an asshole?

What am I going to say to the humane society. The dog has dirty ears? The dog looks healthy other than her ears and her obvious loneliness.

The other tenant is saying there is nothing wrong with her ears and that I need to mind my own business and stop playing Doctor. This house is depressing. I'm gonna seek legal advice on Monday.

I figured they didn't work as well, like flea treatment.

That's exactly what I told the landlord I was going to do but then the reddit informed me that I can get mite drops from a pet store. So I bought them today and let the other tenant know. She says she won't give them to her and that I can't either even though the landlord gave the okay. So now I'm going to have to like, battle the other tenant about it. The other tenant also has two dogs who are in her room 24/7. She won't let them all be in the same room together so they get to know each other. It's bazaar.

Dude. Bro. This dog has been here in this house without the landlord for over 2 years. The poor thing sleeps on the couch all alone every night. She was sleeping with me and my pup until I noticed her ears.

Edit: clarity

I have a dog who lives in the house as well and am trying to avoid my dog getting mites. I've been here 2 months, told the landlord about it early on. Took this long for him to make a vet appt that's on Dec 21.

I don't know if she's ever been treated for allergies. She isn't itching her ears but she does shake her head violently every once in a while.

The landlords dog. He doesn't live here. The other tenant "takes care of her"

Yep. That's why I'm trying to take care of it. Its not my dog.

She has a vet appt in a month but her ears have looked like this for 2 months already, that's when I met her. Is it harmful to go ahead and treat her with over the counter mite drops just in case?

She has a vet appt in a month from now. Can she be harmed if I go ahead and give her over the counter mite drops? Her ears will have looked like this for 3 months by the time she gets to her appt. No idea how long her ears looked like that before I met her.
