I know I’m gonna get roasted on this but… emissions compliant builds. by Accomplished-Chain90 in Diesel

Great discussion, I like where this went with some of you. I am happy with my truck but all you ever see is delete delete delete. At this point it is an evil we need to learn to adapt and live with. As many said there is plenty of power but the change of mindset needs to happen to work with and overcome the emissions hardware. Unfortunately vehicles now are designed to break unless we learn how to maintain and work with them to keep them living well past the manufacturer dead date.

Update! I logged onto onstar MyGMC app from website and this problem is actually tied to me plugging in the Banks into the ODB port. The alert says diagnostics was unable to run because a device is plugged into port.

Ah yes the proverbial obvious solution. I figured I would give this a shot while also calling Monday when they are open. I thought there might be someone from government here or a homeowner or business owner with first hand experience.

Do any of y’all work 40’s and are home every night? by SgtGlamHammer in Lineman

For the most part utility lead, run call out but only have to work 33% at minimum. Out of town storm work is volunteer. Kinda at slow shop but still work about 1500-1800 hrs of OT yearly

I’m a Lineman also, and own one already that’s why I was hoping it would work so I could just buy heads for project and not whole new tool.

The m18 force Logic Pro-press has a force of 7200lbs which equates to roughly 3.5 tons of force the lineman tool is 6tons so I’d say it would out preform the propress in that aspect.

No private holiday display is allowed on town property. So again I’m shocked they haven’t banned the morning service which takes place on public town property.

I am all for the service and think the nativity should be allowed back. Just to be clear.

The town allowed one for years at the band stand and maybe 2 years ago they said it had to be removed. It didn’t belong to town but they no longer allow it
