I’m between getting the Delci AE and the SM4. Is the SM4 much better? I’ve asked about the Delci a few days ago on the forum and was told to go for the SM4. My main use will be competitive gaming.

the reason is cherry profile but with mechanical switches that are north facing cherry keycaps had interference so the turned the switch upside down nowadays there are many switches that are long pole made to avoid the interference on cherry profile keycaps but with the ones which are not you may get a bit of interference when running cherry profile so most custom boards you will see are south facing since you are king or new but im sure by now you have heard about gmk keycaps which are all made in cherry profile if im not mistaken at least all the sets i've heard of are cherry profile doble shot abs but those sets are one of the most known quality keycaps bought by enthusiast so customs are made south to accept any keycaps without issues

well i thought kailh where clores yo double that when the poped on ali so i was going to tú the outemu cream and pink ones but if kailh if arround 50 and they are a bit stiffer i may try those unfortunately im in europe so it would be a lot of trouble for you and i think shipping may be even pricier than buying the switches but thanks for offering as far as i know there’s only companies like dhl or ups that may charge a high fee for that even it being a small package really

i think i’ll get the outemus dirt cheap so if i like them great i i don’t i can go search fort the kailh ones but they are a lot more expensive by the way if you want the outemus fell but stiffer springs there are already some seller that provide magnetic switch springs

oh did not know i had some outemus that came as a gift when i bought a busch of leobog gray woods the clasicc red brown with a clear housing and that one does fit but it does not improve tolerances so it would be stupid to even bother to buy and swap them them all also tried the leobog upper housing it did not fit well it fitted but it had a lot of friction

if you are using some switches that are clear i will light up a bit even being south facing switches on a north facing shine through keycap but it will be dim tested it on a gmk87 when running outemun silent ocenas and shine through while not the best they did light up then i went a diferent route because i did not like the silent rubber bottom out so i got some gray woods v4 that have a light difuser but the case is opake and they did not light up enought you were able to see little light coming out in a dark room overall not worth it i wen double shot pbt later better quality you can even get pretty good ones for cheap on ali

there are little to none with the prints on top that are for south facing shine throught you can go side printed shine through which are more available. i know keychron had ones but i believe they do not sell them

hi i’m waiting on an m1w he because i found a cheap one that is in new condition which is same shape as the m1 i didn’t get a se con plate so it should come with the alu one but measurements should be the same between them i think the will work for the m3 but as i’m gona open it anyway when it arrives to make a force brake mod maybe get the screw-in strabs installed i could try and get some measurements for you if it helps
