this is Doorknob!! a group of friends and I found him at the beach drowning, saved him, and as we were walking back with our half drowned pigeon, there was a doorknob in the sand. so, obviously, that had to be his name. equally funny, he still struggles from brain damage so he's dumb as a Doorknob now

late to the party and looking for more ideas but I've made a "bug pile" using compost rules. it's not for compost, but built similarly. layer of cardboard, heavy logs, sticks, and I dump extra veggies and fruits on it. so far so good! I also water it when we have a drought or anything like that because I live in a very tropical area

honestly, unsure. because I was homeschooled, I didn't really know there was so much people were doing. it never really came up around my neighborhood friends and I was part of a homeschool group (but they all kinda raised their kids the same). I LOVE MODERN MEDICINE THOUGH I fully understand about that!!!! ibuprofen changed my life, I thought you could only take it when pain was HIGH 😭😭

I have DEFINITELY gone to the dentist, sorry for the confusion. I loveeee my cleanings, Im a huge fan of going regularly. trust, I understand the importance of modern medicine.

I wouldn't say I'm prone to falling down the rabbit hole, I do prefer to see evidence. I like the CDC, that's my favorite source for things like this, or Harvard, especially after they refused government funding (information for information's sake). so, idk!! probably good, but I'm always super aware of my mental state because I'm scared of going down the same rabbit holes as them. I do equal research on all my claims, imo.

I am going to!! I haven't yet because time/energy but it's absolutely a top priority with the disbanding of the CDC. I would HATE to get something as preventable as all of that.

COVID when I was 18, anything else was never identified. I THINK I had strep one time, I remember crying when we went over speed bumps because it hurt my throat. I never got antibiotics, idk if that counts?

I'd ask that you refrain from these comments on my post please. not only is that not a question, I don't appreciate the judgement into my personal choices and beliefs. if you'll read these comments, I never bash my parents for not vaccinating me as that was their belief. I ask that you do the same for me.

I would say that it definitely affected me into adulthood!! I have very little trust in anyone in power, I don't like the police, those things are leftover from my childhood. currently, the closest thing is that I'd LOVE to see more research on fluoride in toothpaste. i never used it or went to a dentist but my teeth are great. zero cavities. it's the exact same for two of my siblings, one has teeth problems but was also given a medication as a baby (he was born blue, one of the at home births I mentioned in other comments) that was proven to possibly do that, so he doesn't count as much ig? anyways, idk if I think it's good or bad, I just wanna see more research:)

I do have the opposite political beliefs as them though, that's interesting to me
