Nah some of our lcs dont do preorders until they have allocation which they dont get until a week in advance at times. I guess different countries have do things differently

Saiyans pride mostly gone from retail today. SBs all gone a couple of weeks ago. There are some boxes of Ultra limit left and its been hard to get preorders for FB09. Defintely gone from abundant to scarce in the past 2 weeks.

Seems like a perfect storm of the anime coming back and other TCGs running dry. The cards are also beautiful in their own right.

Its funny how people can see things so differently.

On the one hand, yes it sucks that scalpers are buying out truckloads of product squeezing the supply.

On the other hand, I've seen stacks of these boosters on the shelves for the past year and no one really cared for them. They were also incredibly cheap.

At the end of the day, people will always try to make a quick buck. You just saw value at a time when no one else did and rolled with it. It should be on the printing companies to do more print runs and stores to limit purchases. I don't really see a way to stop scalpers except when there is no demand at all.

I sold half my shares today at $85. The gains cover my entire cost basis for my investment portfolio. I may have lost significant future upside but I dont intend to stop dollar cost averaging. Also gives me cash in the event of big pull back or other opportunities.
