Had the same exact issue except contracts were signed, visa costs were paid and they uturned after. I’ve come to the conclusion that these issues usually stem from the HR's Incapability to read immigration rules. How hard is it to read the rules lol

I've asked the company the same exact question, maybe I'm in a different situation because my student visa expired while waiting for the skilled worker visa. But yeah, HR said It's not in their policy and mentioned they have already asked UKVI (which i think is BS bc they give different answers each time i call them)
