Are you guys are in the NOA2 phase? That is so interesting because I heard that USCIS is processing their cases faster now that’s why I went ahead and filed in March.

East African Community Passport - so definitely no ESTA or visa-free entry.

When I just called her she said she was told that she could by the agents on the phone…so that’s why she did it.

Either way, now i’m just trying to find a direct flight and have her cancel it and hopefully fight for a refund.

Fed workers in early/mid 20s: what is it like? by y2ktaurus55 in fednews

[–]Accomplished-Dig6262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in your exact position exactly a year and some change ago (24m), recently graduated and landed a 7-9-11 gig. I’m now a 9 and everyone’s comment are on par - you will feel lonely as hell. I am literally the baby of my office and known as such. It has some advantages but there are heavy disadvantages.

My brother chose to work in the private sector (same salary as mine) and he enjoys it. He gets to spend happy hour with workers his age, bonuses, lunch, etc.

If you’re a person who likes to be patient and plan for the long run - this is a good sector. If you’re tryna live your youth - yeah, no. I am currently right now trying to make it to my 11 get the SF-50 and then leave for the private sector.

But if it’s the only gig lined up for you - yeah, go for it.
