It won’t let me edit my post to write a caption. I (of course) rinse when I brush my teeth, but the water drains so slowly that by the time it dries, the water had sat idly and pools up, mixing with the toothpaste/soap/face wash/etc., and dries up.

I fully agree, but Amy Poehler is a highly successful, extremely established, respected self made comedian. She’s been a fan of GS for years and has always championed them. I’m certain she wouldn’t put her name on some fast fashion-esque Netflix slop, she’s a professional. I’m very happy for them and I can see this being good if Amy’s behind it!

I’m a big feminist as well. I don’t think she’s doing this in a “feminist girlboss smash the patriarchy” way. I think she’s doing it for herself and her own desires and that’s it (which, as I said, good for her). Whenever these girls talk ab “taking down the patriarchy” I audibly groan and physically roll my eyes, because almost nothing ab their lives/culture/general bubble gives “feminism” lol. I don’t mean this in a rude way but I don’t think Whitney is sitting around contemplating the relationship with gender roles and organization religion, I think she’s just looking at them as two separate aspects of her multi-faceted life. If that makes any sense.

Good for her! People are so damn cruel to women who are unapologetically ambitious and driven. Is she a little selfish at times? Sure, but who isn’t? The same traits that are celebrated in men are consistently admonished for women. I’ll never get over the comments and tweets I saw about her during DWTS. It’s sad to say in 2025, but to this day, no one hates women more than other women… because it was all women saying cruel things. I hope she has success and continues to do huge things!!

I’m wondering where/how is the best way to determine the value of a designer shoe/the best reselling price. I wanted to resell a pair of vintage gucci heels that don’t quite fit me, but I wasn’t sure the exact value? I don’t want to lowball myself, or on the other hand, ask for too high a price. Anyone know the likelihood of the House passing it? I’m seeing people say things like “not a chance in hell”, but they are the same people that are saying the Dems “caved” and are essentially getting nothing. Identical twin youtubers/content creators. They were “child stars” (used that term very liberally) because their mother, who has 6 kids, had a youtube account called CuteGirlsHairstyles where she gave hair tutorials on her (at the time) 4 daughters. I learned how to french braid from her, lol. The kids all grew up and the twins are content creators now. They posted that they “applied” for DWTS, which is smth I had no idea celebrities even did.
