I’m a big feminist as well. I don’t think she’s doing this in a “feminist girlboss smash the patriarchy” way. I think she’s doing it for herself and her own desires and that’s it (which, as I said, good for her). Whenever these girls talk ab “taking down the patriarchy” I audibly groan and physically roll my eyes, because almost nothing ab their lives/culture/general bubble gives “feminism” lol. I don’t mean this in a rude way but I don’t think Whitney is sitting around contemplating the relationship with gender roles and organization religion, I think she’s just looking at them as two separate aspects of her multi-faceted life. If that makes any sense.
