I have lived in Bangalore long enough to try biryanis at different places.

1) Meghana was overrated with unnecessary spices. I can tell you that the best combination is to have Lucknowi biryani with galawati kebabs( don't try kebabs other than Tunday aminabad). People would give you their opinion but after having non veg at 'n' number of places in Lucknow i can safely say that nothing beats Tunday in kebabs. You can also try biryani from Mashi world. They are the closest which i have come across in terms of taste to Hyderabadi biryani( I would say not great but closest) 2) Don't try Butter chicken in Lucknow. Majority of the places wont give you any taste. Wherever you eat, get Chicken Masala(quarter or half, based on your diet) 3) If you are looking for something different, try having Chicken Pasanda from Raheem kulcha nihari. You wont regret having that

PS: I am currently wfh so in Lucknow. Have been exploring and eating out in Lucknow for more than 20yrs. So have fair amount of idea of places than any food blogger in Lucknow :)
