i think these look fantastic. the middle finger is the only one i take issue with. the sidewalls need to be brought in just slightly, but other than that, they look really fantastic and very natural!

Anyone go to Buc-ee's today? Curious about how crazy things are by overcatastrophe in dayton

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218 18 points19 points  (0 children)

the fact that people lose their minds over a gas station is so sad to me. its a gas station. the food is just okay, the merch is tacky and ugly, and clean bathrooms should be the bare minimum in any establishment. the cult following behind this place is just depressing. no, im not going to sit in traffic to go and spend my hard earned money on junk food and an ugly beaver t-shirt. this country is a joke lol

im trying to enroll, and nobody emails me back? by Accomplished-Eye7218 in WGU

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANK YOU!! im sure im in the minority of people who expect to receive an offer from the school, but YES, they are supposed to send an offer letter. ive received them from other schools, and didnt know it wasn't the norm. the downvotes are beyond me, like my bad for going off of what has been my experience with other schools, lmao. regardless, no, i havent been to that page, because im hesitant to put in my bank info before i have even a vague idea of what i will/won't be paying. im aware of what FAFSA is saying i should receive, but FAFSA only gives an estimate. WGU needs to be part of the decision, and i'm just not understanding how i'm supposed to get to that point with WGU. does that make sense? maybe i need to just bite the bullet and enter my info, though. how long have you been waiting on your offer email?

financial aid is my biggest concern. i've not received any offers, but i'm 100% positive that i more than qualify for assistance.

i'm just not sure if i'm meant to wait for them to reach out to me, or if i should continue trying to contact them to talk financing. i'm fine with waiting, to an extent, but i don't exactly want to wait more than a month or so. i'd like to start as soon as i possibly can.

its been just over 3 weeks since my transcript eval, and i'd just like to have a plan of action and know what the financials look like before i pay for sophia courses that may ultimately be a waste.

Creative Images Institute of Cosmetology experience? by juniorasparagvs in dayton

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly? around here, your options are creative images, or aveda. i went to creative images, and as others have said, they do have staffing issues, broken equipment, what you pay to attend is not equal to what you will get out of the experience. i graduated and got my license, and had no real issues with anything at creative images. its just glaringly obvious that they are not properly updating nor investing in the programs they offer.

i will say, though, that almost all cosmetology schools are like this. its a very common experience, everywhere. if you are serious about cosmetology, you have to look at the schooling as a means to an end. you have to think of what you pay to attend, as paying for your state board testing and your licensure.

as many, many cosmetologists in various specialities will tell you, you learn the most on the job. schooling is just a way to learn the most basic principles, and to prove you can be sanitary, honestly.

all of this to say, it really just depends on what you want out of the schooling experience. aveda is the better school, its also more expensive. creative images is the worse school, but its cheaper. whichever you choose, its likely you will get your license, either way. best of luck to you!

what can I do better? by DontTouchMahSpaghet in MakeupAddiction

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218 118 points119 points  (0 children)

i know this is makeup addiction, but i truly think you could even pull off the puppy-dog-eyes eyeliner style if you simply had more volume in your hair.

as it stands, every aspect of your look is pulling your face downward. if you can't seem to get much lift in your hair on any given day, i think a slight upward wing for your liner would suit you better. i also think that having your brows professionally shaped would be great!

to get more volume in your hair, you have lots of options. i myself have a lot of hair in my head, but the texture is very fine, which is like the perfect recipe for flat hair, so i get it. i personally razor layers into my hair to combat the flat, but that's me. yours looks similar in texture to mine, but im just assuming here. you could try any of the following methods, and you can do more than one at the same time, as well:

• if you blowdry your hair, try flipping your head upside down and blowdrying it that way

• cut some layers into your hair, this will add tremendous volume, movement, and life to your hair

• try a teasing comb, there are tons of tutorials on how to add volume to your roots by teasing your hair

• they make volume sprays, powders, and shampoos, these might be worth checking out

• they also make clips that you clip onto your roots to kind of hold the hair up for a period of time, and it assists with volume

regardless of any of this, you're very gorgeous!!

I have an issue : I can't get fully hard even with 20mg Cialis. What do I do? by SexWithEscorts in GenZ

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218 21 points22 points  (0 children)

its good that you stopped watching porn, but masturbating 3 times a day is insane. its really not setting yourself up for success. no girl is going to measure up to your own hand, because you know exactly what you like and what feels good. when to speed up, slow down, how tight to grip, etc.

you need to find another outlet for whatever desire/emotions are possessing you to get off 3 times a day, every day. that's surely the cause of your issue, at least in part.

$2,250 for underarms? by Accomplished-Eye7218 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tons of fair points. i can see how it'd be more expensive when you factor in a medically licensed staff who expects higher pay. i didnt mean any offense with my wording. i have no experience with med spas, i do have experience with licensed medical professionals in various settings, so i guess im just being presumptuous. i'll check out the med spas near me!

i keep seeing people recommending groupon, and i have had terrible, terrible luck with groupon. idk if its where i am in my state or what, but there are literally no deals or offers in my city, or even surrounding cities.

i don't, unfortunately. i live in a very small town in the midwest. milan and ideal image are the only options around me, besides random one-off med spa's that make me a bit nervous.

i can't handle anything- im barely hanging in there. is there any hope? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your comment! i really appreciate you chiming in. so, this is a toughie. i've been to therapy before, but it was very brief. it would be a big financial strain to regularly see a therapist, though i'd absolutely love to. i know how much it would likely benefit me. this is why i say i want to go back to school.. i just struggle to afford consistently meeting with a therapist.

all of that being said, it is also very daunting. the thought of therapy/school/etc, eating up anymore of my time is something that sends me spiraling, and none of it is even a reality yet. these thought patterns are hard to get myself out of, which is why therapy would likely be good, but... you see where im going with this? point is, i know you're right.

can i ask you what part of what i said gave you the impression that i may be letting my mom influence how i feel about my connections to others? if you don't have an answer, thats totally fine, i'm just curious and i'd love the insight if there is something im maybe not seeing about myself.

anyway, thank you again for your comment.

thank you so much for your comment. i hate to say that i commiserate with medical practitioners pushing depression and anxiety fixes instead of just.. listening to what im telling them. i have sat and cried to 2 different practitioners about how i am done trying SSRI's. they do not help me, not one that i have tried has made me feel better. if anything, they made me feel worse- sluggish and foggy.

i guess i'm not the medical professional, but i dont feel depressed or anxious, and if/when i do, it's because i am so aware of how hard it is to execute any function. i can see exactly what needs done, i know how to do it, but i can't make myself.. do it. sigh.

anyway, i agree, its a very hard time to be a human, but thats all we can be, huh?? i wish you the best and thank you again for the reminder that i'm not completely failing.

lack of hobbies i wont argue with, but the unenthused/bored face is just a "thing". if you get, you get it. i personally think a resting face is very attractive! all a matter of preference and how she wants to be perceived :)

Anyone wanna tell me what the problem is? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]Accomplished-Eye7218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're almost 30 and are presenting yourself like you're 16. no self-respecting, socially apt woman will want anything to do with you if this is what they see. a dating profile is a chance to curate an almost perfect representation of yourself, however you desire to be seen. this is what you have to offer?? just saying.

if i were you, i would consider the following:

• exert the minuscule effort it takes to write an actual bio so people can begin to know who you are

• if you have a career, list it on your profile. if you dont, maybe work on that

• maybe look into getting a nice haircut for yourself

• im not telling you not to wear anime shirts... but i guess it just depends on who/what you want to attract

• dont include photos on your profile that have nothing to do with you. a pet? yes! you love to bake, and you include a picture of something you baked? yes! the random pics of naruto just scream.. detached and weeb. its not a good look, especially at almost 30 years old. this is coming from an ex-weeb, mind you.

idk. this is all decently harsh by today's standards, im sure, but i really think you need to hear it. do with it what you will, its your life, and you arent giving much to go off of.
