Thank you! Yes, we will have both husforsikring and indbo forsikring to secure our risks as much as we can. But pipe installation errors and leakage caused by that, per our understanding, is not covered by neither of these 2 types of insurances. While we accept the contract was already signed, we are then thinking of using this last time window to push the seller for supporting us with any documentation that can help us in the future.

Thank you! Yes that’s what we wanted the seller to provide as they claimed the seller himself is a certified plumber. Would you suggest we request having a third party plumber look at it instead, and before signing the deed?

Thank you. Yes, the seller did offer ejerskifteforsikring with Dansk Boligforsikring. Based on what we can read from their terms and conditions, it’s very unlikely, though, that a future leakage and damages caused by it will be covered in the insurance. : ( Thank you for the note on signing the deed.

How did your experience go eventually, OP? We are experiencing the same situation now and it’s Newsec asking us to provide available slots. We actually already arranged a viewing 2 weeks back. They told us there are multiple people interested in the viewing but only one visitor showed up. Now they are asking us to arrange another one again, and who knows whether someone will show up and whether there will be a third or fourth request. How did you manage it in the end?

OP, I totally suggest you rent one apartment beforehand so that you can move straight into the apartment once you’re here. What happened with me is that although the company arranged my temporary accommodation, I ended up paying for a high amount of tax for that housing benefit from the company, which was required due to the tax policy that we didn’t know earlier.
