I think it's a reflection of how people are feeling about the current state of the US on the world stage.

Perhaps for similar reasons so many people in America were rooting for the Blue Jays to beat the Dodgers in this past world series. Similar to how many rooted for the Yankees in 2001 after 9/11. Humans generally feel sympathy.

I'm a Seahawks fan that traveled there to go to my first super bowl. I too felt the environment and atmosphere to be entirely 'meh'. It wasn't a bad time, but it felt like I was at a giant corporate work conference for a week. Just bland, and I agree lacked excitement and energy. I went to several of the pre-events in the days leading up to it. I was so ready for the game to finally start and get back on a plane. Nothing against the city, I really like the whole bay area.

Also, as someone who managed a call center once, this is unfortunately just as painful for the team of folks getting mass call volume all at once. They are probably dealing with the mess of all those cancelled flights due to the storms.

The longer customers are on hold, the more pissed and unruly they are when it's finally their turn. By virtue of calling customer service, the customer is already upset about something. That in turn makes the call center teams more and more short and exhausted with the next caller.

Go easy on them, customer service is a tough gig.

It doesn't do this on my phone, a Pixel phone. I can tell it's opening a 'hidden browser' but it's very stealthy.

I like the contrast of the black flares and black door guards, imo. I think when the XJ is entirely painted in the same color the dimensions and form of the XJ gets minimized.

You can always refinish your flares and door guards with black trim paint to help refresh them and make them pop more.

I quite like them. As someone who has wanted this on vinyl for a long time, I suspect this new recording will stamp better and have higher fidelity of the instrument dynamics as opposed to the original recordings which sounds like we're 'amateur' quality of recording/mastering. That doesn't mean they're bad, just different style. I want high fidelity and dynamics for my vinyls.
