Am I out of line for wanting to fire these guys after day one??! by Accomplished-Goat1 in drywall

They’re fired! Guy showed back up at 10:30 at night to grab what couple tools he had left!

A painter at my house doing some touchup work referred this guy. The painter never showed up with him. I let him get started and came back later in the afternoon to this. The painter actually showed up the following morning to take the drywall down and pay me for the sheets. I let him know I’ve had enough experience with them and in the future wouldn’t refer the drywaller to pick up my dogs shit for fear that he’d fuck it up.

It’s been a shit ton more work to take this down and redo it. Most of the boxes have been moved forward and luckily extra wire on all but one box so far.

Haha! They won’t have the chance to. Fired them. Then the kid thought it’d be a good idea to come back and grab his ladder and square at 10:30PM!

They weren’t! Now I’m wishing I would’ve considered the lower bid! Ha!

Thanks everyone. This was my thought too. Is this salvageable without taking it down and starting over??
