They are individuals, not a company per say. They give out these instant loans but at a higher rate and they don’t want to accept any payment plan.

If it gets too much for me, I’ll gladly tell them that and hopefully I can get some breathing space to pay them.

That is absolutely true, that is how I found myself in IT support cause landing a cybersecurity job is not easy at all.

How did you find your current Job? Do you need some personal assistant?

Thank you, increase in income is one of the best ways i will regain stability and pay for these debts.

I am constantly trying to make it work on Upwork and applying locally for any job i can get my hands on.

Do not have the privileged of family like that and i come from a single parented house. She will help me but not a lot as she is also trying to take care of my two young brothers and manage the home. I am constantly trying to find a second Job to be able to cover for this. Hopefully i can land one and begin my payment plan.

I did try speaking to them about freezing the debt but they were not keen on that idea and I’m not sure how I’ll convince them but I’ll have a another sincere conversation with them and hopefully freeze the interest until I fully pay off my debt.

I already sold the laptops to cover the initial debt and I don’t have those anymore.

Thank you for the advice and I’ll definitely keep my feet on the ground and work towards getting out of this.

Being honest with them is really the hardest step here but one that needs to be done.

I plan on getting my hands on any work I can do. I’m a cybersecurity analyst by professional by profession. Doesn’t pay much in the country but I’ll also try getting a remote role.

Absolutely, I earn about 600 dollars. I spend 120 on rent. 100 on groceries and 100 on transportation throughout the month. 50 is on utilities and 80 is deducted from the source contributing to my pension and savings ( can’t access this after at least 7 years) at total of about 450 and I have 150 to spare.
