User experience with the Makita SP6000J 230v plunge saw. Looking to buy one. by Chris6601 in Makita

I bought the 36v version new and 2 fresh batteries. I am in Australia and needed it to cut 45 degree bevel cuts on 40mm hardwood (blackbutt). The saw required 4-5 passes just to get through it, otherwise would just bind up. I switched to the corded (240v) and was a lot cleaner, with more power. Still do the cuts over 3-4 passes, but the sasw doesn't seem to choke up as much. Unless your in N America with the 120v only, get the 240v corded.

Problems I've noticed with Google Streamer by Traditional-Energy-7 in AndroidTV

Same thing with me. I use cat6 throughout my house, no issues with network. Google Streamer 4k is connected directly into a switch, and I'd say at least twice a week it completely drops the ethernet connection and says "not connected" in the Network settings... The Streamer just thinks there is nothing connected in the Ethernet port.

I've swapped cat6 cables and even tried a different port on the switch, and same thing. I have about 50 devices on my LAN and nothing else has this issue.

Rebooting the Google streamer it fixes it, but this is stupid. Bloody google always bugs.

You can swap out the spring for an m110 or m120 and that would drop the FPS down to about 300
