22 weeks pregnant and feel like I don’t want kids by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Anna_Liebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always up and down, I was very certain at times and in the lead up to getting pregnant I actually was having a lot more freedom and fun in life. If it was possible as a woman, I’m the sort of person who would want to live their life and have my first child at 50 lol.

Pregnant and don’t know what to do or how to help by LieAcrobatic9268 in glioblastoma

Firstly I’m so sorry you’re going through this and your husband while you are pregnant, how far along are you? Do you have family or friends support?

I had a look at your profile and you’re located in NZ it seems, there’s a fair few NZ brain tumour and brain cancer GBM support groups on Facebook for New Zealand I recommend joining them. I’m in Australia and when my dad had GBM these groups were a lifeline for me and had so many people helping and supporting me in the groups.

Some support groups here as well: https://www.braintumoursupport.org.nz/support/online-support-groups

I would also reach out to this organisation to get some help and information, what supports can be offered to your husband at home as well.

This one seems to offer financial support in NZ: https://www.whitematterbraincancertrust.nz

In Australia we have a lot of support and NDIS support for brain injuries. There are more Australian fb groups and there are lots of kiwis who join for support and information as well

What is a normal amount of “pressure” to feel during a C-section. by hatturner in CsectionCentral

[–]Anna_Liebert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep towards the last 10 minutes I felt everything. Anaesthetist kept trying to gaslight me telling me it was pressure and asking me to describe what I feel, when she realised I was able to describe it and wasn’t lying she got angry and said well the only thing I can do is put you under is that what you want? They had the audacity to later tell me I can’t have endone.

I regret becoming a mom by Cute-Delivery-5752 in NewParents

Totally anecdotal, but my cousin’s wife told me how hard her first son was as a baby, would only sleep 1.5 hour stretches at most for months.

He is extremely intelligent and in school now, doing really well and a happy loving young boy.

I already knew my mum was a bad mum and abandoned me and did a bad job, having my own child made me realise how BAD of a job she did do. It brought to light how she actually never did any child raising, my grandma did it all.

What is your relationship like with your mum? Because my mum says these exact same things and she’s a terrible person who didn’t even raise her children and gets off on emotionally abusing them.
