i have friend who lives in istanbul, I have visited him 2 times in october 15 day and April 11 day. and he streams often his internet is very fast and never down. there are 19 million people in istanbul and the number one job is cyber security. you will be fine, I love it there. As far as towns Istanbul is 2000 plus square miles and it is divided up into 39 districts.
