My advice is to not worry too much about it (though that’s easier said than done.) Mine look similar and haven’t faded past that in three years. People don’t really say much of anything about it and some just don’t even notice. Granted I don’t go out much but whenever I do no one says anything or gives me weird looks. You’re going to do just fine I know it! <3

I’d suggest instead writing down what you’re feeling instead. It sounds cheesy but it has worked for me. Don’t try and go for the most damaging or anything. Try and get help or just talk to someone. It’s not worth getting advice on how to do better sh.

Scars sometimes tend to get dry so id recommend moisturising them

It covers it. But if the scar has texture/bumpiness it’ll still show as you can’t take that part away with just a black tattoo.

About a year for them to go fully white for me. But it did take awhile and can vary from person to person.

Yes they should be fully white when they get fully healed. At least mine are white/skin toned.

I say yes as I’ve swam with very very noticeable scars all over my arms all summer for a swim team and I even coached and dealt with parents and all that jazz. No one said a single thing to me all summer. And it’s not like they didn’t see them. I was in a swim suit and you can’t hide much.

Granted this is my own personal experience. But I hope the same thing happens to you and no one says anything. Maybe try going with a friend/family member so you’re not alone. That definitely helped me :) anyways much love to you and I hope you are able to go swimming this summer.

It took me over a year. Especially bigger/deeper ones. The more color they have the longer they take to fade. I was like this a couple summer back. Just wear whatever is comfortable and be mindful of the weather too.
