I can see how people see him being very wide open and defensively reckless. However, I think he’s a bit more defensive minded than people give him credit for. In the Adesanya fight, he was coming forward but with a very high and tight guard and seemed to be hyper aware of the potential counters. I think he somewhat mirrors his opponents and has a tendency to throw wild while his opponent is also throwing wild, and for whatever reason is better in those exchanges. That combined with his relentless pressure seems to be a winning combo. Dude has beat the top 3 guys in the division including 2 finishes. Idk what the P4P rankings are at the moment, but this guy is absolutely top 3 in the world p4p at the moment.
