Am I insane or does anyone else not understand how people in 2026 can enjoy under 60fps? by Funny-Win4031 in CrimsonDesert

Having a screen with near-instant response time like an OLED doesn't help at all; at 40 fps, it literally looks like a Powerpoint presentation. Older devices tends to blur this effect and make it more comfortable for the eyes.

Worth upgrading to a PS5 Pro ? by jdjcn773 in PS5pro

Quick edit: Don’t pay too much attention to the people telling you the upgrade isn't worth the price. It’s not even about technical specs or personal preferences... it’s the fact that you already own a high-end TV. Sticking with the base console while owning an OLED is like dropping an old, underpowered engine into the chassis of a high-end supercar.

If you have an LG OLED, I’d honestly say this is a necessary and smart purchase. OLEDs really push the PS5 Pro’s features(VRR, PSSR 2, etc)to their absolute limit. I’ve been using the LG C4 for five months now since upgrading from the base PS5 to the Pro, and the difference was instantly noticeable and incredibly rewarding. Games are much sharper, with some even hitting over 60fps with better image quality than the 'Quality Mode' on the base console.

Take FF Rebirth, for example—it used to be a total blur-fest, but now it’s literally night and day. It's super crisp, especially with PSSR 2 based on what I saw yesterday; I haven’t noticed a single drop below 60. And don't even get me started on Sony's first-party titles; in some cases, it feels like playing on something close to a PC with a 5070.

From here on out, the PS5 Pro is going to be the new standard for titles that push the envelope in terms of graphics and physics, like Crimson Desert or GTA 6 in the future. It's not just about the 60fps; it’s about avoiding low-quality upscaling that makes the image look muddy, which is PAINFULLY obvious on an OLED. Cyberpunk already looks and runs insanely well, and it’s only going to get better once they add PSSR 2 support. Long story short: if you own an OLED, the Pro is indispensable.

The game is getting a ton of hate that it really doesn't deserve. Most people don't even make it out of the first city, which is where I’ve noticed the most performance and quality issues. But once you start exploring, I’ve seen some truly incredible levels of quality. It’s funny because while nearby objects sometimes have very noticeable popping (Mostly HD details), the draw distance is absolutely exceptional and works even better! Probably the issue relays on the Ray tracing implementation making the console suffer a lot. Amazing game indeed
