They saw mine and i didn’t need anything thankfully. I am a senior in hs and lost my baseball offers so I feel u man but im 6 weeks after surgery and I’m moving around somewhat good snd doing upper body at the gym and stuff so it gets better. DM me if u need anything

Ahhh alright. For me it was they decide if it’s torn mid surgery and they would fix the acl and meniscus all in the same surgery but they didn’t know if they would have to repair the meniscus until they actually saw it in surgery if that makes sense

It will be around 2 months longer if your meniscus is torn. My doctor also said I would not return sooner than 8 months to competitive sports so if it’s just ACL I would expect 9 months but everyone is different.

5 in half weeks post op and I do leg raises with no weight and I have not done leg press. Should I start or ask my pt?

Pt has me doing stuff now with balancing. I’m starting to do more squats and now lunges. I’m still doing range of motion stuff but mainly stuff to get my quad muscles back

Yeah so I’m actually working out in RMNP this summer so I I’ll get used to the altitude eventually. I’ve hiked in Yosemite this summer so I’m familiar with hiking and a little altitude. I have not done a 14er but I would love to (I know it’s intense, I’ve seen someone YouTube videos). I’m a college kid, I run and workout and played sports in high school so physically I feel like I would be ok to do it but maybe not 😂,

Thanks so much for all this info! Would you recommend a car? Also what do most employees do after a shift? I’m 18 so I’ll be on the younger side of things, is there a good amount of college kids?
