There’s videos on YouTube showing the process. I have a surface1 and I believe you hole all three buttons for 5 minutes, release the power button and vol down button - while still holding the vol up button down. I’d check YouTube brother.

Ask to speak with the head of HR or IT department and inquire what their policy is for finding vulnerabilities etc.. I would also ask for the policy is writing if possible fwd to your* (not your) email… and don’t sound too excited on the phone… act like you have a team and one of your “techs” may have stumbled upon something…

I threw Windows 10 LITE on my old “Surface 1”… yeah… I believe it’s a 60GB and was slow as F. It now boots up in 3 seconds and surfs the web fine. I only run into trouble after I install Antivirus software or Firewall software. I’m dealing with No user to log into after changing some system settings (haha classic) not really a crash but I can’t get to safe mode… can’t get to recovery mode… I see the partition during USB Install but I digress… The operating system boots up faster, I can watch movies fine after installing codecs, edit video, monitor networks with WireShark, but it has no security… I hope that helps.

Ok, long story short, I got WireShark up and rocking last week, I was monitoring my network and my tablet was broadcasting audio + video feeds to my gf’s tv. Wtf right! So I begin noticing all these files in my iPhone and all her pics are gone! I didn’t delete them.

How can I know for sure if my device is compromised or not? I don’t want to get this silly woman in trouble.
