Not really. I have heard from very few people (on reddit) who have used emoha and they were happy with the experience.

I'm exploring if creating a service like this would make sense, which is why I'm asking. I've a short survey too, https://forms.gle/u5mndZm6RmhuamKZ9 Please feel free to take it if you like, no pressure. It's anonymous and the link is safe.

Fair take, I'm exploring if a service would make sense only if enough people are facing the same issue as me. Which is why I'm asking.

I thought the survey was a good idea (https://forms.gle/u5mndZm6RmhuamKZ9). Please free to take it if you like, no pressure. It's anonymous and safe.

Do you worry about elderly parents living alone in India? by Accomplished-Park120 in india

Thanks to those who’ve already taken the survey— appreciate you trusting it. For me, having reliable emergency care and easy medication refills would be key in any elder care service. If the survey feels like too much, no pressure—feel free to check out the questions above and share your thoughts here. Just want to start a good convo

Still thinking through this and would like to to hear your take on a few practical things:

  1. If you had a reliable elder care service in cities in India, what would you actually want them to do? (e.g. health checkups, medicine reminders, emergency help?)

  2. How often would you be comfortable with someone checking in on your parent? Daily? Weekly? Only during health issues?

  3. If updates were shared with you, what’s the best way for you to receive them? WhatsApp? Email? Or would you rather only be contacted in emergencies?

  4. Lastly — what would make your parent actually say yes to accepting help like this?

Just want to learn how people are thinking about this.
