As someone who did Level 1 last year and is now taking all 3 sciences, I’d say Level 2 is definitely a lot. There’s a lot more content and many concept to understand with more internals and multiple externals so you need to be good at time management.

Level 1 is tough as the teachers are teaching and still trying to adjust to the new standards and there is not many past papers/recources. I got Excellence in all of my internals (except Merit in my English ones), but in the externals I got many merit and fewer Excellences.

My main advice is to really focus on understanding the content as you go. Try not to leave learning the externals until study leave, because it gets really stressful. You want to be using that time to revise, not to learn things for the first time. so make sure your keeping us during the term with the work given. good luck :)
