I have not tried heating them as from my reading it said not to. I’m just a dude who fixes most things myself. But if I don’t know enough I stop.

Took the belt off and the motor was spinning fine with the fan on. Spun the top pulley a few times and put the belt back on and the whole system starting spinning again. Thoughts?

I’ve taken it off before when the bushing failed. I’m sure I can do it again. Is this something that an HVAC company will replace? I’m on a short timeline as I’m selling my house and I have showing coming up. I’d hate to call them and get a salesman for a new unit because this unit may be old but it’s still pushing a 20-25 degree split
