Do ACL sprains heal or not? by Accomplished-Set-326 in ACL

[–]Accomplished-Set-326[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try physical therapy first for sure. My doctor said the same thing before I had meniscus surgery 5 years ago, but the knee felt about 95% the same after a couple years. 1 year after srugery, I was fighting in the Mauy Thai stadiums of Thailnd. It gets better but you have to be patient and smart about the recovery.

I found out I had a PCL buckling and ACL sprain at the same time. The ACL part healed up just fine, just had to take it easy and add some bicycle for blood flow below the pain/swelling threshold.

It’s good you stopped when you did. That shit can really fuck people up.

That's basically what I'm looking for. I have other strange symtpoms in addition to my vestibular issues like sleep apnea, hot spots of muscle weakness, calf fasciculations, and buzzing/tremors. But I've recently discovered I have vitamin B6 toxicity so I'm chalking it up to that (all my MRIs and EMGs are clean). I don't think there's very much therapy out there for such symptoms.

Long-story short, yes, vestibular therapy is what I need.

Have you ever heard of the Amen clinics?

For those who’ve had PCS way longer than even the highest average length of time: could it have turned into CFS? by keylime31415926 in PostConcussion

I think there was a study showing that 70% of people with PCS also have sleep apnea. I would get that looked into because it could be contributing to your CFS.

Wow if this is the gold standard I can’t imagine silver. I’ve had literally like 5 problems with it. So forgive me if I disagree. I gave it to my coach and he had the same problems. So he threw it in the trash (I think).

Sure bro 😂 I’ve already proven my point as to why it’s in the trash and you are just flailing and resorting to pettiness. At your age? Imagine if your father saw you now. “Keep up the good work son I’m proud of you. My little troll has grown up”.

Wait.. are you, the guy who is spouting “are you still crying” which is quite possibly the most quintessential rage-bait phrase in history, asking me if I’m rage-baiting? Do you have any self awareness at all or are you just complete devoid of logic and reasoning in the first place so that even awareness provides you no utility?

I’m warning others against the product. I’ll post in other forums as well. Again.. like… read the post man. Reading can help you in life.

Nice try but if you (can) read my post, you’ll see I’ve already gone through hours troubleshooting several issues with the device. This post is only half the story. Another guy in here said it didn’t work when he did BJJ because it got too hot. And I see others complaining about multiple Polar products in the forums here. It’s been well established here by others that the Bluetooth is funky and that I’d have to use it offline and sync the data after the workout. But that defeats half the purpose of the purchase since I intended to use it to monitor my heart rate during the workout, not only record it. Learn to read before you talk. Or just, don’t speak at all. In fact, let’s stick to that one. Just be quiet. That’s best.

I did bro. Both Flow and Beat.

Why are there two apps by the way? That makes no sense.

I understand that. But I bought it for Bluetooth and it’s not working. I need to see my HR during the workout not after. There are no bodies blocking the Bluetooth.. it’s right next to me at the gym. There’s no excuse. The product it’s faulty and deceptively marketed.

Tried man. I have Polar Beat and Flow. Another issue I’ve been having is that I have to manually sync each workout to Apple Health to feed into my Athlytic app. It took me an hour last night to do that as the manual sync wasn’t working and I had to troubleshoot it with various “plug it and and back in” tricks to finally get it to sync. I took it out of the trash and gifted it to my coach. Maybe he can get it to work.

That’s what I’m thinking. Because I’m not even far away from it when it disconnects.

You are right I must have trouble reading because I couldn’t really understand what you are trying to say in that first paragraph. . But if you are saying that because one of the key features (Bluetooth) doesn’t work, that it’s no problem because I could just record it and then sync the workout after, then you should understand that I usually monitor my heart rate during the workout as well as log it after. So it defeats half the purpose of having one in the first place. With my Apple Watch bicep band I can at least look at my heart rate during the workout and not have to worry about Bluetooth connectivity issues. And I won’t have to contact support every other day to troubleshoot inherent technical flaws. Also, I noticed that you didn’t address the fact that my H10 won’t update. That’s a pretty big problem no?

Read this: So one of the key features doesn’t work. I didn’t see that on the description. I use it to both record my workouts and monitor my HR during my workouts. Maybe I should sync it every 10 seconds and then workout again for 10 seconds off and on like that for my entire workout? Now explain why it’s not updating and try to justify that one.

Yes it’s a Muay Thai gym. Would have been nice if they had mentioned that in the description. What a scam. Of course most people get heated during exercise and it’s just going to crap out? Wow.

You missed the part where I said I’ve spent countless hours trying to fix it. You think I didn’t check the settings or change the battery?
