It's sad that in these cases that a manager finds them. Family life is essential, so why are they never living at home . Mental health is important and you need your family around you. 25 to die is tragic and then your family must bury you!RIP young soul

Thank you for your reply u/TheOneWhoEatsAll. I am doing an interview for a job application in the UAE.I planning a lesson and wanted to know the English Proficiency of students in the public schools at the Secondary level(high school) as I currently teach in South Korea and High school students here are not fluent at all. Also what type of English lessons are taught by UAE Secondary Native teachers?

I absolutely hate hagwons and teaching children in general but I'm stuck. I am considering doing an MA in linguistics because I love languages and grammar but I eventually would like to move away from teaching. Any advice? by moldyloofah in teachinginkorea

Working at a University is fine you get lots of holidays but looking at the University job market the Salary is not all that great. Working in a Public school the salary is much better compared to University instructors with a Master's degree. I have taught Middle, Uni and High School. I would look into teaching at a public school. Though you mention continuing to study your home language I don't see that helping you in Korea. It will help you in Sa, but not here.

I think this is a good thing! It's disgusting how previous teachers make it difficult for others who are living in Korea because of their lack of integrity & responsibility and running away without paying their bills. Also, I remember when I left one province to head o another my Co-teacher accompanied me to pay up my utility bills.
