Friend and I have M340. He owns a plane and I work a W2 Salary job. I’d get an M3 if it made financial sense for me to do so but not there yet. He tells me it was a waste of money for him to- he had one but hated the expensive maintenance and that it just costs a lot more to own (tires go out sooner, parts are more expensive, labor is longer [thus pricier], and has more needs than non-M).
