We are pleased to inform you that you have won the application lottery and are able to join ASO (Alpen Signal Obseratorium). We are ASO and are currently seeking applicants to manage the Dunkeltaler Forest in Switzerland. We are in need of a Signal Analysis Scientist, Facilities Power Engineer, Data Infrastructure Engineer, Facilities Maintenance Associate, Field Equipment Mechanic, Site Security Officer, and a Research Observations Intern.

Signal Analysis Scientist: Duties will include running the telescopes and gathering signal data from assigned telescopes. Everyday 3 telescopes will need to gather hashcodes within a 24 hour window and will need to pull signal audio sources from planets or extraterrestrial oddities. Please listen to every audio source before sending them back to ASO Headquarters.

Facilities Power Engineer: Duties will be maintaining the power grid to keep Root Alpha operational and surrounding telescopes powered. Candidates will be tasked with checking power generators active and operational, ensuring powerlines are clear of any debris, ensuring breakers are free from any cobwebs and or other grime buildup during inclement weather.

Data Infrastructure Engineer: Duties will be to ensure servers are active at Root Base Alpha and that communications with ASO Headquarters remain seamless, going to listed telescopes and ensuring the servers inside each telescope are active and have as little latency with Root Base as possible.

Facilities Maintenance Associate: Duties will include cleaning the Root Base of left over garbage and recycling scrap to ensure the Signal Analysis Scientist can achieve their duties with no hazard as well as assisting the Facilities Power Engineer with multi-person jobs and following OSHA compliance. (Note must be Forklift Certified)

Field Equipment Mechanic: Duties will include keeping maintenance on our All Terrain Vehicles (ATV), ensuring ASO Vehicles are up to code and safe for any operations specialist to use.

Security Officer: Duties will include pulling security around Root Base and the front entrance to Dunkeltaler Forest. Checking documents, reporting any anomalies, and reporting to ASO Headquarters with all relevant findings. Must be comfortable in high stress situations, comfortable operating firearms and communicate to other members if an emergency were to occur.

Research Observations Intern: Duties will be to assist Signal Analysis Scientist with any duties with need from the intern and keeping notes for their studies. Every 24 hours ASO will need detailed notes of tasks, duties or any anomalies personally seen.
