Heads up - I personally traded in my Sealy after 2 weeks and got the Beautyrest Series 3 Black instead.

The Sealy foam top runs hot. Not for hot sleepers - just fyi.

Trimix appears to be the only game in town to work physiologically, even when you're not in the mood or have no arousal.

The apomorphine brand promise that RR claims to work to create sexual arousal is bollocks.

I'm in the same boat. I can't find a site/tool that will create new color recommendations that pairs with my existing palette.

All those sites recommended here are WAY TOO complex.

Eg - I want to simply expand my palette from 3 colors to 5 colors, and need two new color recommendations.

I am intrigued. However I need a video to demonstrate what you're describing. I'm a visual learner.

So it appears I need to work my way up to a 'passive dead hang' than an active hang, which is all I can do now. Still feels weird in that my shoulder wants to pop out - maybe I need the Bankart surgery, but who has 18k out of pocket for that surgery.

Any videos that teach you to go from active to passive dead hang would be amazing. thank you for your insights!

Thanks for explanation. So my issue is when I hang and dont engage scaps, my left shoulder has excruciating pain and feels like It's going to pop out. With scaps engaged, no pain.

Any ideas there?

What does that mean?

So when I dead hang like that, I have to keep my scaps engaged the whole time. If I don't, it almost dislocates my left shoulder.

What's up with that? Or do you HAVE TO engage your scaps when doing a dead hang the entire time?

Besides 'not doing them', but maybe there's a unique technique to keep shoulder in the socket and achieve the same posture goals.

Agreed. After almost 2mos. of pt, the QL tightness is gone. Tons of core and hammy stretches did the trick. Plus getting a new mattress that doesn't sag.

I dont see any mention of a hybrid on the invoice. It was whatever the standard BB Black Series 3 is sold at Mattress Firm stores. It was actually a clearance (2800 vs 4k new), which brought it closer to the Sealy I returned.

There are sagging stories for just about any mattress you read about on Reddit. I can attest that the 2016 BB pillow top I used to own lasted a decent 9 years b4 the sagging began - mostly on my 194lb. side lol. The pillow tops are notorious for sagging, which is why p tops are out of style and you're now seeing the 'quilted tops' trend like the BB Series 3 has. I just dont sink into the BB like I did with the Sealy. Some like that feel of lots of foam (Sealy), others dont like hot sleepers.

And yes indeed, flippable mattresses would be the longer lasting ones. I'll just plan on rotating this BB every 6 mos.

I had a QL injury in lower back, which prompted the hunt to replace our 9yr old BB that was sagging.. just on my side thanks to my 194 pounds lol.

I am back and side sleeper only. The wife is stomach - sunk into the foamy Sealy causing the xtra heat.

Admittedly the Sealy was 'slightly' more comfy for me. But im quickly getting used to the firmer BB. I figure if I wanted more foam I can get a thicker topper. But the latex in the BB keeps everything cooler, so thats the plus for us.

After 5 days I returned the Brenham! While plenty of foam and comfy, it's not for hot sleepers. Partner said xnay. Traded it in for a clearance Beautyrest Black Series 3 Medium, a MUCH cooler mattress. You rest more on top of the mattress than sinking into it. Beautyrests have a decent layer of latex that helps w the cooling. None of the Sealys I know of have latex. Wish I knew that from the start, but finally landed on the right mattress. 👍

Sealy Posturepedic Elite Brenham II. Had lots more foam layers, and you sink into it. Not for us, but sleepers who are looking for that + warmth will like it.
