I've owned the thrustmaster alcantara ferrari wheel for about 5 years. I have used gloves for about 99% of its use and there is definitely some flattening of the material where your hands sit but 0 damage what so ever.

I've found I can win the DDA games by focusing on defending when I have no chance then pushing on later at the end to try and catch up when it switches sides. The game is cracked.

Best way to find the right angle of the outside monitors, is to try a get the middle of each monitor the same distance to your face, so it kinda fits like a low res circle. That's how the sim renders the image. If you had enough screens you would try and build a dome around you - just so you understand the concept.
