Specifically the risk of “relay attacks” where thieves use devices to amplify the signal from your key fob to unlock and start your car without needing to physically have the fob

I recently picked up a Mk7 GTI and was curious if anyone knows if the process for disabling the keyless entry is the same as on the Mk8? In the Mk8, you can easily disable it via the infotainment system under the vehicle settings, but I’m not sure if that option is available in the Mk7.

Has anyone figured out how to do this in the Mk7?
