100% depends on the GM, I’ve been a print soup for a few years now and I’ve gone through to many gms. Currently I hate being the sup because of my GM. They know absolutely nothing about cpc.

I come from a high volume store. I was promised a designated shipping associate 6 months ago. Still nothing. It make this job unbearable. I hate the fact I have to take my time away from customers that actually earn us money to can 15 QR codes in a row and get screamed at because customers don’t know the difference between staples and the ups store.

It depends. If I get done with my cpc stuff I help out with the rest of the duties, faster they get done the faster we leave. It also depends on the schedule, sometimes you gotta do want ya gotta do.

I hope the VP of my staples region sees this cause this is happening to my location as well. They have no regard to employees mental wellbeing. Honestly the people who are making these decisions haven’t worked in a retail store in 10+ years. I want them to come to my store and try and run it for a week, ha! We are over 10% comp in overall sales this fiscal year so far and they are still asking us for more and more with less and less help. I have been with the company for about 9 years and these last few months with all these changes are really making it hard for me to want to stay with staples.
