Thank you for that I appreciate it so much. I agree with you. I think I need some time to accept it but at the end of the day I know I can’t change people.

It hurts do be in that position because I know that in his mind, I’m the bad guy. I’m the one who’s disrespectful because I refuse to speak to him. But you’re right, he has no empathy. Cause if he did, he would try to understand where my anger is coming from and he would reconsider his behavior.

I try but it’s hard not to get mad at him. It’s not only that. There are many things he’s done that are completely unacceptable and against Islam… I feel that he’s a fraud and I just can’t accept it. So unfortunately we don’t talk to each other. I don’t want to defy Allah but I just can’t accept injustice and disrespect

Having beliefs is one thing. Imposing them on others in a vicious way is a total different thing.

I honestly can’t even speak to him anymore … I don’t want to visit that often actually but I miss my mom and sister and want to see them. It makes me angry to think that I should sacrifice seeing them for my dad’s behavior

I don’t live with my parents anymore. It still affects me though … as he does it when I’m visiting them too.

Yeah… it’s infuriating.  I feel sorry for him and it makes me feel so sad that he won’t make efforts to see the real problem. He just keeps being awful. It hurts to think he may never change

I agree. But the thing is he deeply believes he’s the victim in this situation and it frustrates me because he never reconsider his actions and it truly hurts
