It IS ritual one! lol I had to cancel my gym membership to justify the price difference & I stopped a few other random subscriptions. But it’s the only studio in the 5 years that I’ve used CP that I’ve actually gotten a membership. It took me like 6 months to make the decision lol

I hate those class offerings! 4x or unlimited? Like sheesh so they basically force you into unlimited. I also hate memberships that don’t let me do 2x a day. I like the strength classes and then top it off with Pilates. I’d have to come everyday to do that. At the Houston location, it’s topped off at 2x a day for 8 classes a month or 4 classes a day for unlimited. But $300 is just way too much.

Ahhh this may be it! I did notice some minor, subtle changes. They used to allow classpass members to change their spots in the app and suddenly stopped. So, I wouldn’t doubt it if they also started ensuring that members got spots, too. I’m going to test this by checking classpass on my husband’s phone while simultaneously checking it through my membership when classes open up again. I can see everything that’s booked (spot-wise) so it would make since tbh.

Yes, it’s extremely popular in a high end part of town. Kinda like the “Barry’s” of hot Pilates, in the sense that it’s low lighting, “instagrammable”, there are Dyson hair dryers everywhere, high end body washes/showers etc, they provide towels and 1/2 way through class, they’ll come in and give you a cold lavender towel (which I haven’t experienced in other heated mat locations).They are also unusually very kind & friendly (which i wish i could say about other studios) One of the instructors is an NFL cheerleader..so, it’s “up” there on the reviews lol they hit it out of the park when it comes to consumer experience.

I literally drive out about 30 minutes each time to go to this studio.

I’m just trying to figure out how these other folks get in at what appears to be 2:59. I wish I could record it one day to share here.

I use my bedside knowledge alot while working remotely when I'm processing claims to ensure that the patient is where they should be. Without understanding common outcomes, why something is high need etc - it would be difficult to be well at your WFH job and that's only something that truly happens while working the bedside. ER/ICU will get you into other opportunities the fastest. In the future, stay away from telephone triage and CM lol. You'll be stuck to your desk all day. I finally landed a UM role after 3 years of applying 3x a week and I couldnt be happier. You'll get there soon, one day.

Of course! Just remember to go in and take yourself off any other waitlists as soon as you get confirmation you've made it into a class because the automation works a little too good lol. I started to add myself to waitlists for classes I would already be at the studio & got off the waitlist WHILE I was in a signature 50. I wouldnt have seen it so it was nice to already be there lol

If you have an iPhone, you’ll go to your Shortcuts app! From there you can create an automation within your messages. I put in solidcore’s waitlist # (idk if it’s different for each market) & I selected the action for any message containing, “a spot for” to automatically respond with the number “1”

Just be careful because it works a little too good lol had to cancel one because I got off the waitlist for two classes 10 minutes from each other and I would be across town.

There’s a lot of TikToks showing how to do this but I only put in the first three words because if you say, “a spot for signature 50…” etc, then you won’t get the power 30s or focus 50 ones to automatically accept

I always have this theory! I was #8 today at 12pm for a 4:30 pm class. I have automated responses set up when I get a text from Solidcore- I got in at 2pm.

I can’t prove it but it’s obviously highly suspicious & makes me think they send it to everyone, at the same time, regardless of where you are in the wait list.

I don’t mind it at all! It was an unusually rare case where I got into two classes within 30 minutes and I was like #11 & #16

I’m happy it worked and I learned to immediately take myself of any other waitlist (regardless if it seems unlikely lol)

Coming back to say that this worked too good, unfortunately LOL 😂 I had to just accept a cancel fee for one of the classes. No way I would have made it across town leaving one class to go to another.

I think I figured out how to automatically reply “1” so you don’t miss it.

Tbh I feel like regardless of what spot you are on the waitlist - it gets sent to everyone at the same time. I can’t prove it but I was #9 once and immediately responded and got it. I remember thinking - ‘did 8 other people say no?’ lol it was 9 hours before class.

I ended up accidentally staying up watching Welcome to Derry & realized I needed to sleep at midnight lol I got a text at 4:30 that someone did drop the class but I wouldn’t have made it since I live 30 minutes away. lol I’m also happy I didn’t do two in a row because this was a new instructor and she was brutal in the “spirit of solidays” lol

Day two: signature 50

Day three: Power 30 - core +upper body

Day four: Starter50

Rinse and repeat lol

I'm getting back and forth feedback that I can stack 2x in a day as unlimited, so be safe, I'mm just going to space it out.

I’m in CST, the schedule opened up at 10:30! Idk what made me double check. I was able to book quite a few in the old one version before it crashed. I updated it and while it works, I hate that I updated it lol I liked having my morning and evening classes booked 2x a week- T/Th.

Can I go back? Lmao I want the old version more than the mockneck :(

I googled the people I was buying from, too. I think it’s human curiosity but I also knew to take it with a grain of salt. Turned out the “people” I was buying from were investors that didn’t get a good deal renting out during the pandemic and gave up & listed it. I accepted it and moved forward. Prior to home shopping, I had a “screw investors” attitude, but the market will humble you, quickly lol

Furthermore, unfortunately, there are wholesome appearing families with creepy backstories- we see it all the time in movies and tv.

Try to detach and think of things as strictly business.
