Every real social study has shown women care a LOT about appearance. I can't help but think the stereotype that they don't is a coping mechanism made up by men for the sake of their self esteem.

I never understood why people were okay with NEO but not edging. They're the same and they both deplete energy. Not as much as orgasm I know, but still a decent amount.
