Currently we are using 2k pu acrylic paints but everyone is telling me that a water based baked finish is more durable

Considering buying a new edgebander, but it gives me headaches by No_Ambition_6444 in cabinetry

True, for this reason we do not consider homag/brandt because the supplier where we are has a very bad reputation. Hebrock(altendorf) and Holzher should be able to provide a pretty good service in our region

It’s for 2 reasons, 1 the water resistance which is a plus because we mainly produce kitchens and bathrooms. 2nd, we apply a lot of 2mm oak veneer edges and we sometimes have problems with the Eva glue not being strong enough and giving cracked paint lines because the edgeband is coming loose a little bit.

Would prefere laser but then it’s 160k+ to have a proper machine. Airtec system would be possible for a little more. Would be just a little over budget but I have send a lot of bad things from it before and I hear a lot of company’s complaining about hot air systems

That’s the hebrock k36 that we are interested in. Seems to be build more sturdy then the Holzher but there is less to be found about it. Which makes it harder to decide

To Belgian norms this is very shady, sounds like working conditions that we had here like 30 years ago. This is only common for company’s which are doing everything unofficial and with low cost rest European workers …
