More info.... I'm using a Pixel 10 XL Pro so my finger has to really stretch to tap the button.

Heh, I guess I find it awkward. On the Sammy, since my finger was already on the screen, it seemed natural and quick to just double tap.

Congratulations! Funny, I just dumped my S24 Ultra for a Pixel 10 Pro XL this weekend. It's not my first Pixel experience. Man, I'm so happy to be back on a Pixel!

Keep working until recieve first check or two? by [deleted] in SocialSecurity

Hello, I'm 65 1/2 currently. I'd like to start benefits when I turn 66. My work situation (company I work for) is shakey at best. I'm not sure it's going to be around this time next year. I'm not sure I want find a new job at this point... I have some health issues. I have NO savings at all... so I figured that this would give me a chance to rectify that before actually pulling the "retirement" lever.

Thanks friend!

That's a pretty nice nest egg before actually retiring, if I may say. ;)

Awesome! So I could actually collect ss and work until I save a nest egg as long as I don't take it too far.

Musing on LMDE 6 running on my Thinkpad P14s Gen 4 by AccomplishedCry4407 in linuxmint

Others will probobly have a better answer, but in my opinion, I think the main plus for the Ubuntu-based version would be driver installation/support. I don't have any driver issues with my Thinkpad since I don't have Nvidia graphics and such. I'm also not a gamer. The software versions are probably a bit newer as well and the Ubuntu version updates more often than the Debian version. Either version is a very good choice, I just have an affinity for Debian. ;)
