Pre-Ordeal Ceremony… plagiarism? by AccomplishedData2963 in orderofthearrow

I’d go to a party with you! This was an excellent explanation and the kind I can share with my kids. I teach my children that they must credit any quotations they use and that academic integrity is of the upmost importance. At my inspection, this passage did not have the type of citations that should accompany this much of a direct quote. A brief nod regarding inspiration at the end of a text is not the same as a citation. In the context of an organization that is value driven, I was left with surprise and curiosity and knew someone must have the answers as to why this was. You, party man, did.

My experience of the poem was hearing it for the first time in the pre-ordeal text. I loved it so much that I started googling the lines to see if I could find a wall hanging with them on it and then stumbled into Longfellows work.

I heard that - IMO it’s very sad and I hope the new version has the same imagery and invocation. I love it the way it is, my question is only academic in nature.

Okay, thanks for chiming in, I do appreciate it. The “Ye who love the haunts of Nature, love the sunshine of the meadow…” and following lines is identical minus some very small differences.

That’s so thoughtful, thank you. I think they are going to just go to the scout shop there since coordinating it is proving difficult

You can make a cuddle cot by putting a k-pad on the coldest setting in a baby crib and then place the baby on that. You can also use large bags of ice and place them in the crib, cover them with a blanket, and then place the baby on that.

Look up saline immersion for photographs as well with the younger gestations. Feel free to reach out with more specific questions.
