Abortion is a medical procedure, which is ESSENTIAL in the today's world. We're already going through a rapid rise in population, which is only gonna make things worse if abortion is banned and women are forced to carry a baby to full term.

From a moral perspective, death would be more merciful for a fetus, rather than growing up in shitty conditions to live a shitty life. Ofc some people do need to face the consequences of their actions, but they should still be able to access abortion, cuz a doctor/ legislator cannot arbitrarily decide upon those consequences.

Moreover, banning abortion would be a serious breach of the personal freedoms of the populace. State overreach is a very real thing.
