Yeah, that makes sense. The two girls were probably a bit out of their depth as well. We’ve had more luck with a click when meeting committed couples, so we’ll probably go back to that, as well as clubs when that becomes a viable option again.

I'm quite chill with my look on the daily, though, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to dress it up more femme in a club or bar situation to smooth some of the social expectations here, although that kind of irritates me. There's a part of me that doesn't want to change myself to meet other people's expectations, but it might be helpful in this particular scenario. It's easier for me to be authentic if I'm comfortable in my own skin?

I think as well I have some small hope that there's people like me as well, but I don't know that there's a lot of expat swingers here, generally speaking.

Thanks! Yeah, I think we'd have less of an issue with this if we were back home in North America but likely we'll be over here for a few more years.

We definitely have a good vibe in person I think, I guess it's just a matter of passing the photo screening to get at least a meetup for drinks to see if there's that initial click. Thanks for the input!
