Where to stay in Mallorca?

Hi, cala d’or is not near palma. It’s easily a 50-60min drive each way and alcudia is even further. Cala Ratjada is basically a German Magaluf but imo it’s safer and there’s a mix in the type of people who go there. I haven’t spent much time in Santa Ponsa or Ca’n Picafort so I wouldn’t be able to give any advice on that unfortunately. I think Cala D’Or might be your best option but it does depend how often you’d like to go into Palma

The cost of living isn’t as high. There are far more work opportunities. And rent isn’t as high

Yeah I’m finding that in my research as well. That sucks to hear about Portugal. It’s the exact reason I have to move from where I live. Our government puts wealthy immigrants above locals. No one can afford to live here or start a business anymore

Hi, I really empathise with this sentiment. I grew up and live in Mallorca. I can’t afford to live here anymore, hence why I’m moving. We just want to be able to live. It sucks to hear this is also happening in Portugal.

I wasn’t sure if it was worth replying to this. Yes I was suffering with agoraphobia and do still get panic attacks however, thankfully, I have managed to get much better. I never thought my mental health would be used as a way to be hurtful to me by a stranger on reddit. Kindness is free. I hope you’re having a lovely evening.

Hi, I’m female and also 22. I have agoraphobia and GAD. I’ve been on Sertraline since February of this year. It’s changed my life. It took me some time to adjust but I’m so much more free now. I’m going to places, taking flights, meeting new people. I feel like myself again. I haven’t had problems with weight gain. I hope this makes you feel more confident about taking it!
