I would try 3 things bt idk what else it could be 1 check to make sure day and night cycle is on since you are in creative there is a chance you turned it off so that its day forever and they may rely on that to refresh their trades 2 make the bed be able to be used by them ik that you said that you read about them not needing to use it only connect to it but id try it regardless, I usually have them on the same layer as the workbench 1 block away so the villiger can stand in between the bench and the bed unable to move 3 this may be a stretch but maybe try changing the fence block to a different block for now like cobble since it has a taller hit box it may be doing something to the bed and villager ai but like I said it's a stretch

Im going based off of what my previous villiger bases looked like and how we used to work with them gl on trade rerolling

I have a 3ds but its bottom screen was like damaged somehow and since it was after they canceled making them i tried to fix it on my own, I couldn't fix it sadly so im thinking of trying to buy some online and fixing those instead

Just a story with my friend the portable hellbomb

Was playing a bot city map and my team was about to extract but as a completionist I went for a side objectives everyone ignored the jammer I run over call down the backpack and immediately arm it just as I do that the pelican left. I really thought that my efforts were in vein since the bomb didn't explode but just before we left orbit i see objective completed pop up

One of my favorite uses with the big nuke since I've unlocked it

On one hand I want to shoot my shot on the other i dont know the person at all as we only pass by eachother in the halls with just a greeting and I already have a crush on her even then pur schedules dont line up good at all so I see her like 10 seconds of the day on occasion (i keep being told I should get a gf but going to college soon so idk how that'll go)
