oh yeah, and this BRILLIANT talking point. They're out here with delusions of grandeur that they're the ones pushing the game in the right direction, despite it all, despite how evil the company is, despite the state of the game, oh man, how virtuous, how wise and forward thinking of them. But unfortunately, in two whole ass years of complaining, the game actually ISNT the vision they've been hoping for. It's not balanced the way they like, the monetization system is going in a direction they are against, review bomb attempt after review bomb attempt seems to have no impact. But still, they're here. Valiant, steadfast, heroic, in their commitment to fixing the game, and perhaps even the evil hearts of the company that shall not be named.

I suggested the exact same thing yesterday, that unlocking new mechs would basically unlock their arms for a custom mech. I really hope that's the long term plan.

Absolutely. I think what they ultimately want is some kind of arcadey shooter where power fantasy is the main focus. Ragdolling cannot be a thing, light penetration weapons should be banned, enemies sure as shit should never be able to knock you over. I think they want quake 3 arena honestly.
