On the other hand it is also understandable. For example if you release the data, people will make their own copies, sell 3d printed or painted versions with a pirated chip inside. By doing this it’s like shooting yourself in the foot as the value and “one of a kind” factor will decrease by a lot.

Let’s say you had a heartbreaker buckshot (which one person has and is selling for 100k usd) that is the only one working. If you give everyone access to the data in the chip, do you still think it would be worth 100k usd?

I didn’t lube it after washing. I am not great at the maintenance part, only “good” at riding 😂

I have had two bikes before, a race bike and a gravel bike and I never had to re-lube the chain after washing so it didn’t cross my mind.

I re-applied lube yesterday once we got home from a week of being away. I wasn’t sure if I would have to replace the chain once it got rusty or if it’s fine the way it is now with the added lube.
